Form fields like IBAN, tax ID or CVV often need a hint that most people never read. Instead of a separate popup, the question mark circle itself expands: it grows up and to the right with a soft spring, changes color, the question mark fades and the help text appears inside the same shape.
The help icon is focusable with a role of button and describes the text with aria-describedby. Change the explanation with the text control, and set the colors to match the field's accent.
